MuscuMet is currently in the pre-clinical stage of drug development. Our work is the result of over 10 years of R&D performed by Dr. James Wang and his team at the MechanoBiology Laboratory, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
Given the military's high priority to address tendon overuse injuries, much of the R&D has been supported by grants from the Department of Defense (DoD):
